Step2: Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer".
Step3: In the menu of the registry editor click "Edit", then "New" -> "DWORD value". Name the new value "ShowDriveLettersFirst".
Step4: Now doubleclick it and change its value to "4",as shown below.

Step5: Click "OK" and close the registry editor. Reboot your system! Now, in the windows explorer the drive letters are shown before the drive names, like this.

Change the colour of compressed files and folders:
When a file is compressed in Windows there is an option in Explorer to display it in a different color to easily distinguish them. This setting defines what color to use, the default is blue.
To Modify it, follow these steps below:
Step1: Open your registry by clicking "Start" -> "Run..." and type "regedit".
Step2: Navigate to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer”
Step3: In the menu of the registry editor, in the value name “AltColor” create a new binary value in the data type “REG_BINARY”, or modify the existing value (00 00 ff 00, which is set as default) and set it to equal the hexadecimal RGB color value for the files and folders, as shown below.
Step4: Then, restart the Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: The option to "Display compressed files and folders with alternate color" must be enabled in explorer!
